Try Les Mills Body Pump At Home And Save Money
by Frugal Finder
For the last two decades the only way to get into those infamous Les Mills BodyPump classes was to have a gym membership and then pay extra to sign up to a weekly class. Millions of people in over 80 countries earth wide have done this and not thought twice about the cost, because the results they were getting were so good.
If you’ve often thought about or heard about Body Pump and have always wanted to try it, yet have held back because of the high costs of membership or you dislike exercising with other people now there’s a program just for you. The Les Mills Body Pump class workout is now available as an at home workout called Les Mills PUMP by Beachbody. Beachbody is the same company that’s produced dozens of other DVD home workouts, including names like P90X, P90X2, Slim in 6, Insanity Workout, Hip Hop Abs etc.
The base kit of the Les Mills PUMP Beachbody home workout costs roughly $185.00. This may sound expensive, but when you consider it comes with a barbell and two sets of weighted plates (5lb & 10lb) as well as eight DVD workouts, a workout calendar, nutrition guide that includes recipes and other brochures it’s not a bad price at all. Now when you think about the average annual cost of a gym membership being about $500 plus whatever the cost of the BodyPump class is, you’re way ahead by choosing the at home version.
Since the Beachbody version of BodyPump is brand new (released December 22, 2011) there are not many reviews of the program so far. Many people are wondering if this workout will be able to produce the same results as the group class version taught at fitness centers. This is a legitimate concern, but one that probably shouldn’t be at the top of your list. Why you may be wondering? Because the DVD version of BodyPump is modeled 100% after the group class version. In fact the people at Les Mills International are actually the ones that came up with the music, the choreography, and the exercise moves.
The bottom line is if your goals are to lose weight, and get toned without forking over a ton of money to gyms and trainers, then the Les Mills Pump workout may just be the perfect solution.
