Saving money on gas

by Frugal Finder

Those of us that live in areas with limited mass transit usually have to drive our on cars to work the store and so forth. With gas prices always seeming to edge up higher, this can be a huge expense. There are a few things that can be done to help lower your gasoline cost for your car.One thing to do is to have your car go through a complete tuneup.Change the spark plugs, plug wires, air filter and if needed, fuel filter.By doing this, you will get more efficiency out of your engine.Another good thing to do is to make sure that all of your tires are properly inflated. This alone can add a couple of miles per gallon average.By being frugal minded, and taking these couple of small steps, you can pocket some extra money that normally would have to go into your gas tank.
